View/print the BPAA By-Laws

A group of parents supporting their Butler High School students in Band, Choir, Colorguard or Kickline. The goals of the association are to:

	provide competition fees for all groups
	provide outside advisors to teach special curriculums
	provide purchasing of robes and uniforms for all groups
	provide scholarships for eligible seniors
	purchase and provide maintenance of band instruments
	purchase props and equipment for competitions.

From a parent's point of view, we are supporting our kids, stimulating teamwork, meeting and building new friends, creating camaraderie, and providing our kids with a well-rounded, positive high school experience.

Chaperone Responsibilities

CHAPERONE-AWAY GAME

	Accompany the students on the bus to ensure appropriate behavior.
	Assist band with unloading instruments, flags, etc. upon arrival at game
	Reserve seating (location given by director) at the stadium
	Sit in stands while students are on the field and at 3rd quarter break to supervise equipment
	Report any problems to the directors

CHAPERONE-HOME GAME

	Assist students with preparations for the game
	Sit in stands while students are on the field and at 3rd quarter break to supervise equipment
	Report any problems to the directors
